Rare short wave radio

 Exceptionally good condition

This very rare and heavy radio Blaupunkt Supernova is made in 1970 and it is in very, very good condition.  This radio has been treated very carefully over the years, it looks like new. No scratches, dents or bumps, a really big eye catcher. The radio is absolutely clean without any soiling and it is in a transport case which is also like new. The radio includes a very good copy of the service manual, a power cord and a US power cord adapter. The radio was checked by a specialist workshop a few days ago, and old and defective parts were replaced. (The invoice is enclosed) The reception on FM is again very good after the repair.

The tuning of all bands is smooth-running.

It’s a technically very good radio with a really good sound.

The radio has following bands:

FM up to 108, MW, MB, LW and 6 SW bands

This radio has also one pushbutton with AFC (automatic frequency control). A precise fine tuning of the FM stations will be achieved when pressing the AFC button. And there are also 3 buttons to save 3 different FM stations. With KW-LUPE you have an excellent fine tuning option for the whole SW band.

The station scale is nice and clean; all inscriptions are present and clear. All knobs, pushbuttons, the light and the frequency indicator work well.

The telescopic aerial and the carrying handle are in very good condition,

The sound from the loudspeakers against the wooden radio body is very good with deep basses and clear high tones, very warm and room filling.

You can plug in a tape recorder/cd player, earphones, and a car aerial.

The Radio play’s with 6 batteries in size D or with a power cord with 110 / 220 volt, the battery compartment is clean and works fine.

This radio is many years old but is in near-MINT state.

The Blaupunkt Supernova is a very heavy and solid built German radio that will works for the next long time.
